SPRINGBORO, Pa. —
Marion “Cookie” Medrick Schirmer, age 70, of N. Beaver Road, Springboro, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012, at her residence.
She was born in Braddock, Pa. on May 5, 1942, a daughter of the late Paul and Irene Myers Medrick.
She was a former employee of Avtex and Pleasant Ridge Manor. She was Lutheran in Faith and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends, especially on her back porch.
She will be sadly missed by her sister, Betty Morrow and husband Donald of Conneaut, Ohio; brother, Paul Medrick and wife Agnes of Meadville; godson, Donnie Morrow of Ashtabula; goddaughter, Amy Irene Edwards of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Medrick; two sisters, Carole Blood and Nancy Johnson.
Services and Interment will be private.
