ASHTABULA — C. Michael “Cosie” Patrick, age 74, of Ashtabula, died at home on Thursday morning, Nov. 1, 2012.
Born Nov. 22, 1937, in Ashtabula, he was the son of Joseph and Rose (Fabrizio) Patrick and was a graduate of Ashtabula High School Class of 1955. He received his bachelor and Masters Degrees from Gannon University.
He was formerly employed at G.E. and Reliance Electric in the Engineering Depts. and retired from the Home Depot after 10 years. While at Home Depot, he earned many awards. His hobby was hunting.
On April 15th, of this year, he married his long time girlfriend, Gerri DeGeorge.
Survivors include his wife, Gerri DeGeorge-Patrick of Ashtabula; son, Joseph Patrick of New Port Richie, Fla.; daughters, Karen (Chris) Kokas of Apex, N.C. and Jayne (Rich) Blaha of Perry Township; step-children, Kathy (Doug) Stevens of Jefferson, David (Vickie) DeGeorge of Ashtabula and Larry (Karen) DeGeorge of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Nicholas Patrick, Zachary Patrick, Alycia Kokas, Mathew Kokas, Emily Blaha, Megan Blaha, Michael Blaha, Stacy (Patrick) Talcott, Lindsay (Jason) Hagerdon, Anthony DeGeorge, Angela DeGeorge, Bradley (Erin) Mather, Jennie (James) Callaway and Gianna DeGeorge; and great-grandchildren, Danica and Brooke Talcott and Lillianna Mather.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Madeline Patrick; and sisters, Dolores Guerini and Lucille Beraducci.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 5th, in Our Lady of Peace Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula.
