GENEVA — Leona A. Jones, age 85, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, formerly of Harpersfield Township, Ohio, since 1974 moving from Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Geneva Village Retirement Community in Geneva.
Born Oct. 10, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Ann (Zola) and Frank Olesinski and a 1945 graduate of John Hay High School. On Jan. 31, 1957, she married Emery Jones in Cleveland.
Leona was Assistant Supervisor of Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable at White Motor Company and other businesses. She also coordinated the annual, multi-family Jones garage sale in Harpersfield for over 25 years.
She was a member of the Madison, Geneva and Ashtabula Senior Centers. Leona loved her volunteer work as a former Travel Coordinator and Meals on Wheels volunteer at Madison Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling, garage sales, bingo and cards.

She is survived by her husband, Emery Jones of Geneva and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Agnes Coleman and Bernice Mitrovich; nephew, Stephen Mitrovich; and special friends, Daisy Mae and Bozo.
Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 12th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva. A Graveside Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, July 13th, at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
