GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE —
Malverie “Annie” Gau, age 70, of Geneva-on-the-Lake, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Rae-Ann Geneva Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Geneva.
She was born Nov. 18, 1941 in Osley County, Ky. Annie was the owner of Annie’s Bar and Restaurant in Geneva-on-the-Lake for 21 years.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Roland R. Gau; daughter, Maria Pillar of Geneva; sons, Raymond R. of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Randy R. of Painesville, Richard R. of Madison, Roger R. of Lima, Rusty R. of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ronald R. (Tracy) of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Mark Wheeler of Mentor and Johnny Ledbetter of Tennessee; 22 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilson, Herman and Jimmie Judd; son, Roland R. Gau Jr.; grandson, Roland Joseph Gau; and her parents, Conley and Ila Judd. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, July 13th, at Searcy & Strong Funeral Home in Booneville, Ky.
Calling Hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 11th, at POTTI FUNERAL HOME, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison, Ohio.
