PERRYSBURG —
Donna Jean (Clark) Smith, went to her eternal home, Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Hospice of N.W. Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. She passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side.
Donna was a long-time resident of Orwell and North Bloomfield, Ohio. Born on July 19, 1928, in Logan County, W.Va., she was a daughter to James Lewis and Eliza Belle (Gartin) Clark in addition to her parents.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Smith; four brothers, James, Alfred, Ruford and Clifton Clark; and a sister, Shirla Peyton.
She is survived by three daughters, Angela (Jason) Brock, Kendra Smith of Oil City, Pa., and Sharon Smith of Charleston, S.C.; and six grandsons, Robert, Cody, Dillon, Jarred, Brandon and Chase. She is also survived by three sisters, Bereda (Wilmer) Willis of Orwell, Gay (Harry) Aliff of Cleveland, Ohio, and Edith Leslie of Cleveland, Tenn. Also, one sister-in-law, Julia Clark of the Plains, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She left many memories for her family to cherish. She was an avid crafter, and was always knitting, crocheting and making things to give to her family and friends.
She also loved gardening, especially flowers. She was a long-time member of the Eastern Stars and the Rebekah Lodge in Orwell.
We love you and will miss you dearly.
There will be a Graveside Service at 11 a.m., Friday, July 30th, at Meadowbrook Cemetery, 1211 State Road, Champion, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Opal Chapter Eastern Star, 527 Laurelwood Drive SE, Warren, Ohio 44484.
