CONNEAUT —
Adeline (Nappi) Vendetti, age 91, formerly of Conneaut, Ohio, died Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Friendship Manor in Crestwood, Ky., with her family by her side.
She was born Nov. 13, 1920, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Anastia (Martucci) and Severio Nappi. Mrs. Vendetti was a 1939 graduate of Ashtabula High School. In 1941, she married Michael Vendetti.
She was formerly a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church and The Catholic Daughters of America. She was a manager at State Line Restaurant and retired from Webb Manufacturing. Mrs. Vendetti enjoyed sewing, baking, writing letters and spending time enjoying her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-seven years, Michael Vendetti; three brothers, Mike, Pat and Sam Nappi; and three sisters, Carmel Azzano, Stella Buonavolanta and Julia Mecci.
Survivors include two daughters, Joanne (Jerry) Petz of Columbus, Ohio and Marie (Bob) Beckwith of Crestwood, Ky.; a son, Anthony (Twyla) of Puyallup, Wash.; sister, Tina Todaro of Conneaut; sister-in-law, Helen Nappi of Ashtabula; seven grandchildren, Alicia, JJ, Julie, Robby, Mike, Michael and Gina; and seven great-grandchildren, Samantha, Dylan, Brady, Macen, Austin, Alexandra, Oliver.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 8th, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill St., Conneaut, with Father Philip Miller, of St. Mary/ St. Frances Cabrini Parish, presiding. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
Calling Hours will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 8th, at RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.
