ASHTABULA — Eunice. J. Morse, age 84, of Ashtabula, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Country Club Retirement Center.

She was born June 22, 1928, in Ashtabula, to the late Steven and Margaret (Sokol) Zurbola. She lived in Ashtabula most of her life. Eunice graduated from Ashtabula High School. She married her first husband, Henry Poser and together they spent many years together until his death in 1980, she later met and married her second husband, Robert in November of 1989.

Eunice worked for many years as a secretary at Iten Industries and Molded Fiberglass. Eunice was a perfectionist, she worked hard to be good at all that she did, she was not one to cut corners. She was a very talented artist. She enjoyed painting, drawing, framing art and embroidery. She was an excellent cook and loved to have family and friends over for dinner. She loved to spend time in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Henry in 1980; second husband, Robert in 2008; brothers, Gus, Steve and Bernie Zurbola; and her sister, Helen Righter.

Eunice is survived by her sisters, Malvina Madar of Ashtabula, Margaret Peters of North Carolina; brother, Elmer Zurbola of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

At her request, there will be no services. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
