FAIRVIEW, Pa. —
Anna E. Castrilla Ozolek, age 86, of Fairview, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at her home.
She was born July 7, 1925, in Conneaut, Ohio, a daughter of the late Michael and Rose Carlucci Castrilla. Anna graduated from Conneaut High School in 1944.
Following World War II, she moved to the Fairview area where she had resided since. She was a homemaker throughout her life, where her family had been her priority and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fairview, enjoyed playing "Bridge" with her friends and especially enjoyed spending time with her family in Conneaut and Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. "Tony" Ozolek in 2007, whom she married Nov. 27, 1948, in Conneaut, Ohio; also by a sister, Antoinette "Dee" Parlongo; and a brother, Henry Castrilla.
She will be sadly missed by her family which includes her daughter, Katherine A. Bartlebaugh and her husband, David of Erie; a son, Dr. John A. Ozolek and his wife, Jamie of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Lucas Irwin, Alaina Irwin and Claire Ozolek; a great-granddaughter, Audra Irwin; two sisters, Alvera Anderson of Conneaut, Ohio and Beatrice Mead of Ashtabula, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at DANIEL R. EDDER FUNERAL HOME, 309 Main St. East, Girard, on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to the time of a Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7100 West Ridge Road, Fairview, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Scott Detisch officiating.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
