GENEVA —
Funeral Services for Gertrude M. Doeing, age 82, will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Bowhall Road, Painesville. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at SPEAR-MULQUEENY FUNERAL HOME, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
The daughter of John F. and Ida (Ettasse) LeBail Sr., Gertrude was born Feb. 8, 1929, in Painesville. Mrs. Doeing was a resident of Geneva and a long time resident of Painesville Township. She passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at her home in Geneva.
She retired as a cook for the Painesville Township Schools and was a Charter Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Sweet Adelines Chorus.
She enjoyed camping and spending special times with her friends.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Doeing Sr., whom she married on Nov. 24, 1948; sons, John R. (Kathy) Doeing Jr. of Fairport Harbor and Richard A. (Debbie) Doeing of Madison; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Beryl Delaria and Doris Bryan; and brothers, John F. Jr., Francis and Stanley LeBail.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
