GENEVA —
Mildred K. Cunningham, age 72, of Ashtabula, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Geneva Village Nursing Home.
Born May 25, 1939, in Ashtabula, Ohio, she was the daughter of George and Jessie (Griffith) Gordon and had resided in Ashtabula County all of her life.
Over the years, Mrs. Cunningham was a home care aid for various families. In her leisure time, she enjoyed going to yard sales and playing Bingo.
Mildred is survived by her children, Wayne, Roger, Michael and Leroy Pudder, all of Geneva and Mark (Shirley) Pudder of Jefferson; brother, Terry Gordon of Bedford; grandchildren, Yvonne, Samantha, Ryan, Nick, Jessie, Eric and Rusty; five great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Vicki Nieves Pudder; and several nieces and nephews including the Schupska, Bennett, Clark and Henderson families. Millie leaves behind many wonderful and great friends that she has met over the years, from all walks of life. Each and every friendship she made she cherished and honored.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Cunningham on March 24, 1999; her parents; and her siblings, Carol Ann Henderson, Lois Bennett, Evelyn Gordon, Georgene Schupska, Audrey Clark, Helen Hoover, Dave Gordon, William Gordon and Harold Gordon.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 28th, at the DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Robert Cunningham, of the United Church of Geneva, officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart or the American Cancer Associations.
