ASHTABULA — Katrina Magdaline Dalton, age 3, became a twinkling star on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at her home with her loving parents and family at her side.
The much loved daughter of Troy and Carmen (DeLion) Dalton, she was born on March 3, 2009, in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Katrina loved to explore the world around her. She loved to dance, sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, make art and craft projects to give to her family, and swim in the pool. Going four wheeling with daddy down to the river to explore was always exciting. The family trip to Disney World with mommy and daddy to learn to be a princess was her favorite adventure.
As most little girls do, Katrina did not like bugs; she liked to pick flowers to give to mommy, eat hotdogs, and watch the birds at the bird feeder outside of her bedroom window. Her most favorite thing to do was snuggle with mommy and daddy and say her bedtime prayers. She was a precious princess in the eyes of her family.
Katrina will be remembered for smile and bright eyes, her joy of life, but most of all for the way she loved her mommy and daddy, and her brothers.
She is survived by her loving parents, Troy and Carmen Dalton of Ashtabula; brothers, Benjamin (Tina Bowers) Garcia, Angel (Adrienne Popso) Garcia, both of Ashtabula and Victor (Kim) Garcia of Conneaut; her foster brothers and sisters whom she loved very much; and her much loved nieces and nephews, Jesse, Selena, Adalina, Marcus, Gino, Benjamin, Madeline and Emily.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Garland and Mary Dalton; and her maternal grandmother, Juanita DeLion.
A Funeral Service will be held 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30th, at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula.
Calling hours will be observed from 3 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, at the Funeral Home.
