GENEVA — Thomas E. Bond, age 67, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Ashtabula County Medical Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.
He was born July 27, 1945, in Cleveland, to Myrtle (Ashmun) and Thomas G. Bond. He was a proud graduate of Mahoning Valley Vocational School. He married Bonita Atkinson in Geneva, Ohio, on Sept. 3, 1966.
Tom had many jobs which included helping to run service stations, and working as a drywall hanger and finisher. He also worked as a roofer and welder. He also worked as a custodian with the Geneva School District.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom enjoyed watching TV, talking with his friends on the phone and he loved his cats.
He is survived by his wife, Bonita Bond of Geneva; daughters, Shannon (Rosco) Castle of North Kingsville, Ohio and Laura (Keith) Warner of Geneva; sons, Thomas E. (Barb) Bond of West Point, Texas and Mark Bond of Geneva; grandchildren, Thomas, Tara, Racheal, Jacob, Joshua, Seth, Samantha and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Eric, Katelin, Andrew and Keegan; and his good friend, Paul Warner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Danielle Bond.
Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, with Pastor Dennie Land officiating.
