Lawrence “Larry” J. Quickel Sr., of Madison, Ohio, entered into rest Friday, August 17, 2012.
Dearly beloved husband of 40 years to Mary (nee Kovach). Beloved father of Terri (Frank) Bartle, Kevin (Anna) Downs and Karen (Dan) Keating; loving grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of two.
Preceded in death by his sons, Lawrence Quickel Jr. and Ken Downs.
Larry retired from Kennametal in 1988. He will be greatly missed by all of his many family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 21st, at the Geneva Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 323 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the Funeral Home. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva, Ohio.
