WILLIAMSFIELD — Sarah Samanthra Girard, age 57, of Williamsfield, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, in Conneaut, Ohio.
Born Sept. 24, 1954, in Little Rock, Ark., Sarah was the daughter of late Arlie W. Turner and Ruth O. Turner and was a graduate of Middlefield High School in 1972.
A homemaker, Sarah enjoyed hosting company, garage sales, playing card games and reading novels.
She will be missed by many of the lives she has touched throughout the years. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anybody out in need. She had a great sense of humor that will be missed by many.
She is survived by her four children, Ruth Girard of Williamsfield, Julie (Badi) Altawil of Warren, Sparttacus Girard of Williamsfield and Anthony (Robin) Girard of Williamsfield; two sisters, Martha (John) Holyfield of Hazen, Ark., and Orlie Jean Moring of N. Little Rock, Ark.; three brothers, Harrell Turner of Hazen, Ark., Oppie (Nancy) Turner of Bristolville and Perry J. (Virginia) Turner of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Taylor (Keith) Kozolowski of Cortland, Cheyenne Steh of Williamsfield and Katrina, Gabriel and Isaiah Altawil, all of Warren; many nieces and nephews; long term friend and caregiver, Dan Anderson; and former husband, Ray Girard of New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Jenny Turner, Charlotte Hauer and Mary Vincent.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15th, at the PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio 44076, officiated by Pastor Matthew C. Lowe. Burial will follow at the Sager Cemetery, Bristol Township.
Visitation will take place at the Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 14th, from 5 to 7 p.m.
