CONNEAUT — Homer “Ken” Green, age 71, died Sunday, June 28, 2009.
He was born June 7, 1938, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Homer and Sara (Davidson) Green and had been a life-long area resident.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Green, whom he married Dec. 19, 1998; his children, Cynthia Green of Carson City, Nev., Kellie Green, Ken “Chip” (Jaclyn) Green and Amy Jo (Eric) Stevens, all of Bloomsburg, Pa., Sally (Thomas) Munger of Conneaut and Heidi (Michael) Morris of Ashtabula; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his stepsons, Rick and Jason Rice, both of Ashtabula; and his sister, Sara (Bill) Irvine of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Rusty Irvine; and his parents.
A Service will be held at 7 p.m. Today, Wednesday, July 1st, at First Church of God, 1910 S. Ridge Road W., Ashtabula with Full Military Honors. The Rev. Hal Morgan will officiate.
Calling Hours will be held at First Church of God Today, Wednesday, July 1st, from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
