ROCK CREEK —
Joseph N. Glovitch, age 67, of Rock Creek, died peacefully with family by his side Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 26, 1945, in Cleveland, the son of the late Joseph and Rosemary (Somajtes) Glovitch. Mr. Glovitch was raised in the Mentor Headlands area and had lived in Austinburg, Jefferson and Rock Creek over the last 34 years.
He was a retired electrician with Morton Salt in Fairport Harbor after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of the United Steel Workers and the NRA. His hobbies included fishing, four wheeling, music, crossword puzzles, helping others and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include three children, Joseph H. (Rhonda Albright) Glovitch of Rock Creek, Jeffrey M. (Kimy Ferrucci) Glovitch of Austinburg and Jennifer L. (James) Sloan; his loving partner of 20 years, Peggy Terry of Rock Creek; two grandchildren, Justin Glovitch and Taylor Terry; and three sisters, Marilyn (Mike) Mirwald of Madison, Linda (Frank) Murphy of Lorain and Rose Luse of Concord Township.

Memorial Services will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 22nd, at the Jefferson Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with Pastor Bill McMinn, of Eagleville Bible Church, officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, prior to the Service, at the Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family or to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004, envelopes will be at the funeral home.
