GARRETTSVILLE — Selena J. Lane, age 70, of Nelson Township, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born Jan. 21, 1942, in Painesville, Ohio, she was a daughter to Joseph and Veronica (Claremont) Zupancic.
Selena enjoyed baking and cooking, and was a caregiver to her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, William “Bill” Lane of Garrettsville; children, Veronica “Roni” (Tim) Fischbach of Garrettsville, Bill (Amy) Lane of Rootstown and Tonya Lane of Garrettsville; brother, Bruce (Gail) Zupancic of Garrettsville; sister, Patricia (Donald) Eland of Madison, Ohio; grandchildren, Doug, Brandy, Samantha, B.J., Josh, Tyler, Brett, Megan, Wyatt and Julie; and great-grandchildren, Leah, Owen and Lane.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Zupancic.
Memorial Calling Hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13th, at West Farmington United Methodist Church, where services will begin at 7 p.m. Pastor Jim George will officiate.
