Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court

• Matthew A. Pitt, 34, 440 W. 41st St., Ashtabula, appeared May 28 for his sentencing hearing on the previous conviction of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, a fourth-degree felony. He was sentenced to 180 days in the Ashtabula County Jail with 60 days suspended with 21 days jail time credited. His driver’s license was suspended for three years and must pay the court costs.

• Danny Lewis, II, 32, 3030 Orchard Road, Ashtabula, pleaded not guilty June 1 to the charge of receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. His bond was set at $25,000.

• Eric S. Royal, 28, 128 Cherrytree Lane, Painesville, pleaded not guilty June 1 to the charges of resisting arrest, a fourth-degree felony; felonious assault, a first-degree felony, and child endangering, a first-degree misdemeanor. His bond was modified to $50,000.

• Jamall Long, 37, 1631 W. 6th St., Ashtabula, pleaded not guilty June 1 to the charges of possession of drugs with specifications, a fourth-degree felony; aggravated trafficking in drugs with specification, a fourth-degree felony; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; two counts of possession of drugs with specifications, both fifth-degree felonies, and two counts of trafficking in drugs with specifications, both fourth-degree felonies. His bond was continued at $17,500.

• Stephanie A. Perkins, 1931 E. Prospect Lot 414, Ashtabula, pleaded guilty May 12 to the charges of no operator’s license, fictitious plates and defective exhaust system and was fined $415.

• Christopher M. Boucher, 123 E. Monroe Circle, Jefferson, pleaded no contest May 12 and was found guilty to the charge of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $330 and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended. His driver’s license was suspended for 180 days.

• Kelly S. Forren, 630 Eastlawn St., Geneva, pleaded guilty May 12 to the amended charge of aggravated disorderly conduct and was fined $290 and sentenced to three days in jail with three days suspended.

Forren also pleaded no contest May 12 and was found guilty to the charge of assured clear distance. Her bond was continued.

• Joshua M. Hunter, 5255 State Road Lot 3, Ashtabula, pleaded guilty May 12 to the amended charge of disorderly conduct and was fined $230.

• Dakota T. Riddle, 2330 Route 193 Apt. B, Sheffield, pleaded guilty May 12 to the charge of drug paraphernalia. Riddle was fined $150 plus court costs with $50 suspended and sentenced to three days in jail with three days suspended. Riddle’s driver’s license was suspended for 180 days.

Riddle also pleaded guilty May 12 to the charge of seat belt-driver and was fined $110.

• Buckley R. Wright, 2222 W. 9th St., Ashtabula, appeared May 12 for his sentencing hearing on the previous conviction of assault. He was fined $1,000 plus court costs with $250 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail. He must complete the anger management program plus 180 days of supervised probation.
