• Adam J. Franley, 3634 Carpenter Road, Ashtabula, pleaded guilty Feb. 27 to the charge of driving while under the influence. He was fined $455 and sentenced to 45 days in jail with 35 days suspended with five days to be served via 18 days of electronically monitored house arrest. His driver’s license was suspended for 180 days.

• Damen S.A. Daye, 1024 Allen Ave., Ashtabula, appeared March 5 for his sentencing hearing on the previous conviction of fleeing. He was fined $230 with $50 suspended and sentenced to three days in jail with three days suspended. He must complete 20 hours of community service.
