ANDOVER —
A Colorado based, musical, hip-hop entourage of various recording artist under the unbrella label of 8th Element will take the stage at the Williamsfield Community Center Saturday evening.
Founded in Denver in 2008 by president/manager Gianni P. “G” Ficca and a cast of other artists, 8th Element is a family owned, independent entertainment camp that developes, promotes and records various rap and hip-hop artists with an underlying misson of brotherhood and social reform.
Many of the up-and-coming artist such as Kemist, Mista Poedic and NexKin are fairly well known in the hip-hop circuit and charts.
8th Element is connected to local resident Chris Bosch of Andover, who has been instrumental in including Williamsfield in their North Coast tour. “I lived in Denver since I was 18 and grew up with most of these guys” said Bosch. “With the help of local designer Jonathan Browning of Brown Ink Design, we secured a venue and got promotions rolling to set up a tour stop here in our town. It’s the first of its kind arou0nd here and it should be one fantastic show jam packed with numerous artists” Bosch said.
Additionally, local resident and rapper Crazy Dave Allen will be opening the show on Saturday at 7 to debut some new material he’s recently produced.
The 8th Element clan will also be in town Friday evening at the Inn in West Anover at 9 pm for a meet-and-greet signing reception with merchandise and CD give-aways. This is open to the 21 and over public.
Saturday, the doors open at 7 and the show starts at 9 p.m. The venue holds 250 seats. Tickets are $1.. For ticket information contact Chris Bosch at 440-381-1991.
