CLEVELAND — “Family Feud” is hosting an open casting call at The Flats for the series Friday.
Spokeswoman Courtney Smith said the game show is looking for local contestants. She said selected families will be flown to Los Angeles for a chance to appear on the new season which starts Sept. 7.
The search team will be at the Nautica Entertainment complex on the West Bank of the Flats near Nautica Pavilion and Howl at the Moon, 200 Sycamore, to interview applicants.
“The best contestants are families who are outgoing and engaging,” said executive producer Gaby Johnston. “‘Family Feud’ is all about working together as a family, having fun and pooling your knowledge to win cash and prizes. Trust me, our contestants will have the time of their lives”
There is no cost to try out. Get information at www.19actionnews.com.
The series airs at 9 and 10 a.m. weekdays on WOIO Channel 19.
