Unofficial results from the Ashtabula County Board of Elections show the following results in contested village council races:
Jefferson (four seats): Top winner was Kay Ann Brabender, 571 votes, 22 percent; Brian Diehl, 534, 20 percent; Richard Hoyson, 449, 17 percent; Jerry March, 437, 17 percent; Frank Snyder Jr., 390, 15 percent; K.C. Baxley, 234, 9 percent.
North Kingsville (four seats): Top vote getter Dennis Kortyka, 549, 21 percent; Timothy Zee, 533, 20 percent; Michael Mauro, 515, 19.5 percent; Lawrence “Skip” Eller, 398, 15 percent; Albert Hanna II, 329, 12.4 percent; Michael Lynch, 315, 12 percent.
Orwell (four seats): M. Jane Byler, 235, 20 percent; Doris Cook, 198, 17 percent; Charles McElroy, 184, 16 percent; John Rose, 181, 15 percent; Suzanna L. Martin, 138, 12 percent; Stuart Walker, 128, 11 percent; Julie Mordesovich, 105, 9 percent.
Roaming Shores (4 seats): Holly Sue Mayernick, 321, 24 percent; Chad Vavpetic, 294, 22 percent; Roy Brommer, 222, 17 percent; Cheryl Allene Copeland, 192, 15 percent; Richard Wills, 164, 12 percent; Wayne Newland, 122, 9 percent.
