Local Goodwill hosts big conference



GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE - - More than 100 visitors and 17 Ohio Goodwills met recently at the Geneva State Park and Lodge and Conference Center as part of it's 2006 Ohio Area Goodwill Industries Conference.

Other Goodwill organizations representing Michigan, Pennsylvania, Louisiana and Goodwill Industries International also attended.

Presenters at the 2006 Bridges to Learning conference included representatives of the Ohio Prison System, Schoneman Inc., AFLAC, Warren and Young LLC, the American Background Alliance, Ashtabula County Department of Job and Family Services, Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Ashtabula County Youth Opportunities, Goodwill of North Louisiana and Goodwill International Inc.
