"The most precious collectible of all is the wonderful people you meet while collecting Coca Cola memorabilia."
That's the assessment of Ruth Ashley, newsletter editor of the Western Reserve Chapter of The National Coca Cola Collectors Club. The 20-year-old chapter has about 40 members and is looking for more established and new Coke collectors to join.
The chapter's annual flea market is Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Garden Brook Center, 4820 State Route 5, Cortland. Take Route 11 to Route 5 and go 1.5 miles south.
Both indoor and outside setups will be available at the flea market, which is devoted exclusively to Coca Cola and other advertising items.
The flea market is the chapter's only fund-raiser. This is the 19th year for the event.
Club dues are $15 for the primary member and $5 each associate living in the same household. Contact Clarence Ashley in New Lyme for more information about membership or the flea market.
