Thomas and Elizabeth Mihalik of Geneva announce the engagement of their daughter, Amelia Rose Mihalik, to Ian Dennis Simpson, son of Dennis and Teri Simpson of Montville.

The bride-to-be, a graduate of Madison High School, is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education at The Holden University Center of Lakeland Community College. She is employed as a wildlife education specialist at Lake Metroparks Wildlife Center in Kirtland.

Her fiancé is a homeschool graduate. He is employed at Western Reserve Farm Co-op in Munson.

The couple are planning a closed wedding Aug. 24 in Madison. A closed reception will be at Cornerstone Church.
