Gruey-Perry

Gina Lynn Gruey and Thomas Patrick Perry were united in marriage April 29, 2011, at the Viva Las Vegas Garden Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas, Nev. The Rev. Robert D. Greer officiated the 7 p.m., double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Carl and Diane Gruey of Kingsville and Joseph and Lynda Perry of Ashtabula.

For her wedding the bride chose a tea-length gown of white satin fashioned with a strapless bodice and adorned with an antique crystal brooch.

The groom was attired in a black Ralph Lauren tuxedo with matching tie.

Serving as honor attendants were Mia Crawford of Ashtabula and Marjo Webster of Conneaut. Junior bridesmaids were Kylie Gruey of Jefferson, daughter of the bride; Abbie and Allie Perry, daughters of the groom, both of Ashtabula. Flower girl was Emily Gruey of Jefferson, daughter of the bride.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Matthew Perry of Ashtabula. Groomsmen were Calvin Crawford of Ashtabula; Brad Webster of Conneaut; and Stewart Gruey of Kingsville, brother of the bride. Ring bearer was Patrick Perry of Ashtabula, son of the groom.

A reception for the couple was held at Maggiano’s in Las Vegas.

The bride graduated from St. John High School and Kent State University. She is a registered nurse and director of nursing at Country Club Retirement Campus. The groom graduated from St. John High School, University of Akron and Ashtabula County Police Academy. He is a patrolman with the Ashtabula City Police Department.
