Victor and Karyn Gilmer of Saybrook announce the engagement of their son, Aaron Gilmer, to Sarah Hale, daughter of James Hale of Perry and Susan and Brian Foster of Painesville.

The future groom graduated from Lakeside High School in 2006. He is employed at Save-A-Lot Warehouse and is also a paramedic and firefighter for Saybrook Fire Department.

His fiancée, a 2007 graduate of Riverside High School, is employed as a paramedic at Jefferson Rescue and Community Care Ambulance Service. She is pursuing her nursing degree at Kent State University.

The couple are planning a September 2014 wedding.
