Mr. and Mrs. Bill VanGilder of Ashtabula are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary.

Bill and Lonnie (Hamilton) were married Jan. 28, 1958, in Ashtabula.

The couple’s children and their spouses include Cathy and Tom Capone of Youngstown; Billy VanGilder Jr. of Lafayette, Ind.; the late Kenneth VanGilder; Brenda and Gary Jerauld of North Kingsville; and Kelly and Dave Kern of Jefferson. They also have nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. VanGilder is retired from the Koski Construction Co. Mrs. VanGilder retired from Iten Industries.
