In celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Condo of Ashtabula were honored at a surprise reception Dec. 29 at Plymouth Fire Hall. The party was hosted by their daughter Christina Moisio, Pam Osburn and Penni Kish and families.

Walt and Patti (Sterling) were married Dec. 29, 1972, in Jacksonville, N.C.

The couple’s children and their spouses are Jamie and Jennifer Condo of Monroe and Christina and Ben Moisio of Ashtabula. They also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Condo is employed as a supervisor at the Ashtabula Rubber Co. Mrs. Condo is a customer service representative at Ashtabula Towne Square. She retired from Big Lots in 2008 after 24 years.

The couple also took an anniversary trip to the Pocono Mountains.
