Franko-Hawkins

The First Baptist Church of Ashtabula was the setting for the wedding uniting Jessica Rose Franko and Chad Michael Hawkins on Oct. 27, 2012. The Rev. Kenneth C. Roberts officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sherry L. McCloud of Ashtabula and Robert G. Franko of North Royalton. Her grandparents are Margrete J. McCloud of Ashtabula and the late William H. McCloud of Stowe; the late John and Gizella Franko of Parma Heights. Parents of the groom are Brenda L. Hawkins of Youngstown and Edmund J. and Ramona K. Hawkins of Ashtabula. His grandparents are the late Anniece Hawkins; Greta Hawkins and the late Leonard Hawkins; Iola and Tony Galliazzo; Gayle Stubbs and Garland Stoneman.

The bride appeared in a strapless Oleg Cassini silhouette gown designed with a fitted bodice and A-line skirt heavily embellished with beading. The skirt and chapel train were enhanced with tiers of tulle and lace with ruffled edges.

The groom was attired in a gray tuxedo with matching vest and yellow tie.

Serving as honor attendant was Michelle Cinciarelli. Bridesmaids included Elise Venditti, cousin of the bride; Maggie Stewart, Kelly White, Lisa Heinbaugh, Yvonne Tackett, Molly McMurray and Janel Rowbotham. Flower girls were Madison Cinciarelli and Myla Rowbotham.

Best man was Jason Hawkins, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brad Franko, brother of the bride; Nick Shaffer, step-brother of the groom; Gunnar Knox, Jeremy Pildner, Eric Tressler, Mike Brydle and Jason Tackett. The ring bearer was Sullivan Hawkins, nephew of the groom.

A reception for the couple followed at Andrus Banquet Center.

The bride, a 2001 graduate of Edgewood Senior High School, received her bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting and an associate’s degree in applied business in accounting technology from Kent State University in 2007. She is employed as a corporate accountant at West Penn Energy Services in Pittsburgh, Pa. The groom is a 1998 graduate of Ashtabula High School and a 2011 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He is employed as an applied technology fluid mechanical technician at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in Pittsburgh. The couple are residing in Pittsburgh.
