Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Styles of Ashtabula recently renewed their wedding vows during a Mass for couples in the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown who are celebrating 25, 50 and more years. The Mass was held at St. John the Baptist Church in Canton.

A dinner honoring the couple was hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Luci and Jeff Payne.

Robert and JoAnn (David) were married Sept. 30, 1961, at St. Joseph Church in Ashtabula.

The couple’s daughters and their spouses include Luci and Jeff Payne of Stow; Jennifer Styles Brown of Charleston, W.Va.; Mary Helene and Julius Petro of North Kingsville; and Julianne Oatman of Ashtabula. They have six grandchildren, Emily and Hannah Petro, Ben and Jamie Oatman, Jimmy and Robbie Brown.

Mr. Styles retired as an engineer for Coe Manufacturing of Painesville. He is employed at DiSalvatore Chiropractic. Mrs. Styles retired as a chiropractic assistant at DiSalvatore Chiropractic in 2010. They are Eucharistic ministers and members of St. Joseph Our Lady of Peace Parish and active at Ss. John and Paul. She is also president of Cedars of Lebanon.
