Tharp-Dello

Ashley Alise Tharp became the bride of Jason Allen Dello in a Catholic Mass Nov. 12, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Conneaut. The Rev. Raymond Thomas officiated the 1:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony. Providing music for the occasion were Megan Ansbro of Washington, D.C., vocalist, and Margie Tate of North Kingsville, organist. Readers were Pamela Cianci of Greenville, Pa.; Matthew Tipton of Toledo; and Katy Sullivan of Kent, cousin of the bride.

Parents of the couple are Stephen and Susan (DuFour) Tharp and David and Jackie (Fisher) Dello, all of Conneaut.

For her wedding the bride chose a strapless diamond white gown of silk organza by Lis Simon design which featured a pleated bodice and pearl button back closure. The extravagant ball gown skirt was enhanced with oversized dimensional organza swirling that cascaded into full rosettes. Dazzling silver appliqués encrusted with clear and silver sequins and Swarovski crystals adorned the natural waistline. She added a custom-made elbow-length veil embellished with silver embroidery and beaded border.

The groom was attired in a black Ralph Lauren two-button tuxedo with diamond white shirt and tie.

Serving her sister as maid of honor was Mackenzie Tharp of Conneaut. Bridesmaids included Erica Esposito of Strongsville and Megan Kuntz of Kingsville, cousins of the bride; Nicole Cuccaro and Nina Dello, both of Conneaut, sisters of the groom; and Audree Gerasimchik of Hilliard. Junior bridesmaid was Rylie Minor-Tharp of North Kingsville, niece of the bride. Flower girls were Arryon and Addyson Esposito of Strongsville, Ainsley Kuntz of Kingsville and Capri DuFour of Chardon, cousins of the bride; Alexis Cuccaro of Conneaut, niece of the groom; and Ava Tharp of Ashtabula, niece of the bride.

Best  man was Mario Marsilio of Ashtabula. Groomsmen were Jason DuFour of Chardon and Mark DuFour of Toledo, cousins of the bride; Chett Fisher, cousin of the groom, and John Carter, both of Conneaut; and Matthew Tipton of Toledo. Junior groomsman was Zach Cuccaro of Conneaut, nephew of the groom.

Grandparents of the bride are Lester and Helen Tharp of Conneaut and the late George and Elsie DuFour. The groom’s grandparents are Mary Jane Dello and Tony Morano of Conneaut; the late Leonard Dello, the late Raymond and Juanita Fisher.

A reception for the couple was held at The Regency Ballroom of the Bel-Aire Hotel, Erie, Pa.

The bride graduated from Conneaut High School in 2004 and received her bachelor of science degree in human development and family studies/intervention studies from Bowling Green State University in 2009. She is pursuing her master’s degree at Cleveland State University and is employed as a senior classroom behavior therapist at Lerner School of Autism at the Cleveland Clinic. The groom, also a 2004 Conneaut graduate, received his degree in construction engineering from The University of Toledo in 2008. He is assistant track supervisor for Norfolk Southern Railroad, Youngstown.

Following a wedding cruise to the Caribbean, the couple are making their home in Cortland.
