Joe and Linda Vanfossen of Dennison announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth Vanfossen, to Noah Mechling, son of Dr. Paul and Joanne Mechling of Pierpont.
The future bride graduated from Claymont High School in 2004 and received her bachelor of science degree in 2008 and a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Kent State University. She is a speech-language pathologist for Tri-County Educational Service Center.
Her fiancé is a 2001 graduate of Edgewood Senior High School and a 2008 graduate of Glenville State College where he earned an associate degree in forest technology and bachelor’s degree in natural resource management. He is employed as a procurement forester for Yoder Lumber Co.
A closed summer wedding is being planned.
