Esposito-Yacobozzi

Erica Esposito became the bride of John Yacobozzi in a 2 p.m. nuptial Mass Aug. 4, 2012, at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Mount Carmel, in Ashtabula. The Rev. Raymond Thomas officiated the double-ring ceremony. Andrea Tredent of Ashtabula was vocalist and provided organ music. Readers were Pete Lombardo of Jamesboro, cousin of the groom; Aaron Esposito of Cleveland, brother of the bride; and Emilee Esposito of Conneaut, cousin of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Tony and Joni Esposito of Ashtabula. The groom’s parents are Tony and Shelly Yacobozzi of Erie, Pa.

For her wedding the bride chose a strapless gown of ivory lace designed with a fitted bodice and embellished with elegant Swarovski crystals. The flared skirt, which had a side split, extended to a chapel-length train.

The groom was attired in a Calvin Klein gray suit with modern ivory shirt and vest.

Serving as maid of honor was Deanna Cerjan of Geneva, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids included Lauren Fioritto of Chesterland; Erica Esposito of Cleveland, sister-in-law of the bride; and Crystal Fabella of Columbus, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Arryon Esposito of Cleveland, niece of the bride. Flower girls were Addyson Esposito of Cleveland, niece of the bride, and Giuliana Dragon of Madison, godchild of the bride.

Best man was Frank Lombardo of Erie, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Ernie Matson, cousin of the groom, and Kevi Tate, both of Erie; Jesse Lambert of Youngstown; and Aaron Esposito of Cleveland, brother of the bride.

Gift offering was by Steve Dragon, godfather of the bride; Shirley Massucci, godmother of the bride; and Frank Lombardo Sr., godfather of the groom.

Among those receiving flowers were the bride’s grandparents, John and Julia Dragon of Geneva and Tony and Helen Esposito of Ashtabula; and the groom’s grandmother, Joyce Yacobozzi of Erie. Flowers on the altar were in memory of Emma Esposito, grandmother of the bride; Ann Youngquist, the groom’s mother; John Yacobozzi, Jerry and Shirley Spencer, Mary Jane Yeager, grandparents of the groom; and Delores Lombardo, godmother of the groom.

A reception for the couple was held at Bayfront Sheraton of Erie.

The bride received her degree in early childhood and elementary education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is a second grade teacher at Prince William County School District in Manassas, Va. The groom received his degree in business from Mercyhurst and Edinboro University. He is a manager with Darden Corp., Bahama Breeze of Northern, Va. The couple reside in Manassas.
