Reams-Wilson

Janna Reams became the bride of Robert Wilson Jr. in a double-ring wedding Feb. 29, 2012, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Ashtabula. The Rev. Larry Mackey officiated the “Leap Day” ceremony at 6 p.m. Readers were Elizabeth Carman of Canfield, sister of the groom, and Nicole Fentiman of Columbus, cousin of the bride. Providing music for the occasion were Sally Hennessey of Geneva, organist, and Douglas Fentiman of Columbus, uncle of the bride, was piano accompanist.

Parents of the couple are Herschel and Jolyn Reams of Ashtabula and Robert and Joanne Wilson of Canfield.

For her wedding the bride chose an A-line gown of white taffeta designed with beaded lace cap sleeves and a fitted bodice featuring gathers asymmetrically placed at the waist and ruching at the side seams embellished with metallic beaded embroidery. The full bustled skirt extended to a chapel-length train.

The groom was attired in a black suit with white shirt and white silk tie.

Serving her sister as maid of honor was Alana Reams of Stow. Best man was Robert Rutkousky Jr. of Canfield. Ushers included Tim Markulin of Uniontown and Yianni Kalouris of Canfield.

Among those receiving flowers were Marion Wheeler of Ashtabula, great-grandmother of the bride; Barbara Reams of Ashtabula, grandmother of the bride; Douglas and Elaine Fentiman of Columbus, godparents of the bride; Kenneth Wilson Sr. of Boardman and Rose Svasta of Canfield, grandparents of the groom; and Nancy Sakmar of Boardman, godmother of the groom.

A reception for the couple was held at Knights of Columbus Banquet Hall.

The bride received her bachelor of science degree in accounting from The University of Akron. She is employed as food and beverage accountant at Covelli Center of Youngstown. The groom attended University of Akron and received an associate degree in electric power utility technology from Stark State College. He is employed as supervisor of regional operations for line and substations at Penn Power First Energy Co. in New Castle, Pa.

The couple reside in Boardman.
