In celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary Mr. and Mrs. D. Bruce Taylor of North Kingsville were honored at a surprise party Dec. 28, 2012, at Ferrante’s Winery & Ristorante.

Bruce and Sandy (Eggert) were married Feb. 2, 1963, at Ashtabula First United Methodist Church.

The couple’s children and their spouses are Mike and Judy Taylor of Berea; Tim Taylor of Riviera Maya, Mexico; Carrie and Curt Lucas of Fishers, Ind.; and Donny Taylor of North Kingsville. They also have nine grandchildren.

Mr. Taylor was employed at Creative Millwork in Ashtabula prior to his retirement in 2008. Mrs. Taylor retired in 2009 from Huntington Insurance Co. in Ashtabula.

The couple are also planning an anniversary trip, a gift from their children.
