Elizabeth Jean Sloan became the bride of Daniel Joseph Kozminski in a double-ring ceremony March 24, 2012, at Zion Lutheran Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lad Chapman was the officiant for the 4 p.m. wedding. Providing music for the occasion were Ben Sieben, pianist, and John Sloan, vocalist, father of the bride.
Parents of the bride are John and Deborah Sloan of Boise, Idaho. The groom’s parents are Jim and Carrie Artman of Ashtabula and Jim and Cynthia Kozminski of Fairview Park.
Serving her sister as maid of honor was Christina Sloan of Coralville, Iowa. Bridesmaids included Elissa Day of Minneapolis, Minn.; Jennifer Galvin of Tacoma, Wash.; and Michelle Kozminski of Fairview Park, sister of the groom.
Best man was Cameron Adams of Salt Lake City. Groomsmen were Jason Sturges of Salt Lake City; David Kozminski of Joshua Tree, Calif., brother of the groom; and Jay Fass of Clinton, Utah.
Among those receiving flowers were the bride’s grandmothers, Joan Sloan of Independence, Iowa, and Elaine Ehlers of Waverly, Iowa.
A reception for the couple followed at the Hilton Hotel. Friends and family are invited to an open reception 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 30 at Martini’s Restaurant and Lounge, 4338 Lake Road W., Ashtabula.
The couple will reside in West Valley, Utah.
