Police investigating double homicide

ASHTABULA — Ashtabula Police Department is investigating a double homicide that occurred early this morning on Kain Avenue. According to Police Chief Robert Stell, one suspect has been taken into custody. See Tuesday's newspaper for the story.

    Police have arrested a suspect after a substitute teacher's aide was shot while walking near McKinley Elementary School in Erie, Pa., this morning. The aide had taken a break outside when she was shot. Her condition is not known. The school is no longer on lockdown as worried parents who went to the school are allowed to take their children home.
