LAKE COUNTY COMMON PLEAS Judge Eugene Lucci reveals his "high-tech" method for choosing alternate jurors in a trial. Lucci allows the defense to pull four playing cards from a deck. Each card, shuffled by the state's attorney, represents a juror. The four pulled cards (and jurors) become alternates.
