WARREN DILLAWAY / Star Beacon MARY BECKWITH teaches at Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School. She went back to work early to encourage her students after having brain surgery to correct a rare condition entitled chiari malformation. Beckwith is running a half marathon to raise funds to fight the condition.
