Bring your own tools to playground build SATURDAY

GENEVA — Volunteers are still needed to help build the new Eagle Street playground equipment Saturday.

The work day starts at 8:30 a.m. and volunteers don’t have to have any building experience to help, but should bring their own screwdrivers and other tools, Geneva recreation director Mychaelane Anderson said.

Anderson said volunteers should also “dress to work,” meaning sturdy shoes.

For more information about the playground, to volunteer to help assemble the equipment or to make a donation towards refreshments, call Anderson at 466-9139 or e-mail recreation@genevaohio.com.
