MARGIE PAGE: Conneaut Optimist Club is seeking sponsors for its annual summer community flag display.
Since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the club has erected flags that fly on poles across town between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Donations of $30 are needed to sponsor a three foot-by-five foot flag. To participate, contact club president Bill Cox at 593-4561.
Also, the club hosts an all-you-can-eat breakfast the second Saturday of every month between 8 and 11 a.m., at its 514 Harbor St., clubhouse. Cost is $6.
