CARL E. FEATHER / Star Beacon GARY HEWITT stands inside his North Kingsville Covered Bridge Pizza Parlor, the interior of which is half of the Eagleville covered bridge. Some of the latticework still bears the carvings of bridge visitors from generations gone by, and at least one has the chalk markings Hewitt scribbled on each timber as he dismantled the bridge in 1972.
